Photos don’t do this place justice. We got the 3k omakase set and everything was delicious. The hostess/waitress (not sure what the right word is to describe her role) Izumi was so friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience so lovely.

Amazing sushi in CDMX. They have both fusion and traditional options. Comparable to high end sushi in NYC for a fraction of the price. One of the best meals of our trip!!

Impeccable sushi - perfectly seasoned and cooked rice, fish beautifully and as fresh as any in Japan. The service is attentive, lovely, and theatrical (watch them serve the sushi to you!) We went twice during our weekend trip.

I dined here last night and can say this was easily one of the best omakase experiences of my life. I chose their first option which includes a sake pairing (3k pesos). The fish was incredibly high quality (much of it is flown in fresh from Japan) and the presentation of everything was delightful. The chefs are world class and the amount of detail they put into each dish is extraordinary. The service was also exemplary. The Japanese lady who was the waitress, was very professional and attentive without being overbearing. She always appeared to explain each new dish and was very helpful when I wanted to order some additional sake. She also spoke multiple languages which was very helpful. I haven’t experienced service this good since being in Japan. I highly recommend coming here if you want an authentic omakase experience. I’ve eaten a lot of sushi in CDMX and no where else has come close to this place.

This restaurant was spectacular. The service made us feel at home, and from the time we arrived to the time we were tucked into our Ubers by our server, it was thoughtful, attentive and high quality. The fish, imported for various places was fresh and well cut. The omakase we had (contemporary one) exceeded expectations, with star dishes like the wagyu nigiri, the tamago and rolls, and of course the onigiri soup. Even the dessert which came with mochi (my favorite) was a traditional delight. I felt like I was teleported to Japan. Could not recommend more highly, we’ll be coming back!

What an amazing place! Im really happy that they opened and now its possible to have a classic japanese sushi bar around that area unlike the other offers that are very bad or have terrible service. Prices are very good taking into account the technique and the fresh ingredients they use but also service is very good (something difficult to find in that area). My only but would be to install something to close the restaurant so its not that windy and you dont feel almost on the street. Ask for the Homare Omakase but bare in mind that you have to be very hungry! Congrats and will be back soon

Authentic Japanese restaurant featuring omakase and a la carte options The decor is rustic and furnished with animal hide pieces. It feels like a set in a Japanese movie We had to order a la carte for the gluten-free items (no soy sauce and flour). The server and chefs were very patient and accommodating. Everything we had was top-notch. You can literally taste the quality. Our favorites were the wagyu (had to order a second serving; the unparalleled melt-in-your-mouth sensation that is only found in Japanese wagyu) and the abushi toro (also ordered a second serving for the same reason ). What a treat to be transported to Japan through this culinary experience
